
Research and innovation
Braten has advised tech start-ups - and been a speaker leveraging technology and psychology - both international and in Scandinavia. His main interest is within emerging technologies like VR, AR, AI, IoT - primarily implemented within Edtech, GovTech and / or a SmartCities framework.
He works on several projects in close collaboration with industri partners and the start up ecosystem. Mr Braten is an academic author and holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Oslo. He has been leading international research projects - and has served with NATO and the United Nations.

Today he is involved in innovation processes for a safer, sustainable society - backed by industry and innovation partners. This takes up most of his time - together with consulting and speaking engagements. Mr Braten speaks frequently on the topics of security, technology, industrial & organizational psychology, resilience, change and transformation.
